Description
The pump is what turns a tank of solution into a working parts washer. When a washer stops circulating, or the stream at the brush goes weak, the pump is the usual cause — and replacing it costs a fraction of replacing the machine.
Match the flow rate to the tank. A benchtop or drum-mounted unit runs happily on a lower flow rate; a large base-mounted or agitation tank wants more. And do not move a pump between chemistries — seals and impeller materials are specified differently for solvent and for heated aqueous solution, and the wrong one fails early.
See all replacement pumps. While the pump is out, check filtration — circulating grit is the most common reason a pump wears out ahead of schedule — and the hose and flow-through brush, since a blocked brush makes a healthy pump look faulty. Send us your model number if you are unsure which pump you need.
